SSCL Bangla Class presented to the Bangla media in Sydney

All Bangla media in Sydney are invited to the SSCL Bangla Class at the Dulwich Hill Centre.
Please try to be present at the centre on time.
The details are:
Date: 17 March '07
Time: 09:30 am for 10:00 am meeting
Venue: Dulwich Hill, Seaview St
(Bangla Class is at E Block 1st Floor)

The program schedule is as follows:
9:30 am: Tea/Coffee (Staff Room)
10:00 am:

10:30 am: Close

Please find attached a PDF copy of the statement to be made by the BPC president in Bangla.
Your suggestions on the scheduled program will be appreciated. Please also try to encourage the media you personally know to be present.

Bangla Proshar Committee November EC Meeting 2006
BPC's next meeting of Executive Committee will be held at Dulwich Hill High School, Dulwich Hill on Saturday, 4 November 2006 at 9 –10 am.
Please be there if you are a member of the current committee.

The tentative agenda as provided by Mafizul Hoque, General Secretary, BPC is as follows:

  1. Confirmation of the minutes of previous meeting
  2. Draft Constitution
  3. List of prospective student for 2007.
  4. Communication strategy to increase awareness of the High School Bangla course.
  5. Contact details of all EC members
  6. Bank account signatory transfer
  7. Miscellaneous
Also, all EC members are reminded to bring a list of year 6 students from respective regions so that this initiative will give us opportunity to promote the Banga School and increase the number of students in subsequent years.

AGM - 5th August 2006 Displaying the syllabus
Morjory Ellsmore, principal of NSW Saturday Schools is holding the newly unveiled syllabus with Abdul Jalil, ex-president of Bangla Prosar Committee as Farouk Iqbal, ex-general secretary of the Committee, looks on.

Electoral Session:
Election Commissioner: Dr. Fazlur Rahman
After finishing the business session, President of BPC Mr Abdul Jalil declared the dissolution of the existing Executive Committee (EC) and handed over to the election commissioner Dr Fazlur Rahman to elect a new EC of BPC.
The members present in the AGM unanimously elected 4 officer bearers and selected 15 members (subject to confirmation by the candidates and EC) of the new Executive Committee for 2006-07. The office bearers are:

Bangla Prosar Committee AGM, Discussion and Syllabus Launch
Bangla Prosar Committee AGM, Discussion and Syllabus Launch Bangla Prosar Committee's Annual General Meeting 2006 is taking place on 5th August 2006 at Dulwich high school, Seaview St, Dulwich Hill, NSW. It will start at 9.30am and is expected to finish by noon. BPC members and interested community members are requested to come with their family and friends to the AGM.
